Short Nose

Septal Lengthening Graft

Dr. Clark developed this procedure in 1986 to lengthen the short nose. Essentially, a piece of cartilage is removed from a place in the septum or ear where it will not be missed to lengthen the septum. The SLG acts to hold the tip in a lengthened, de-rotated position that corrects the defect.
